Oh look, it’s Consensual Push To Production Friday.

If it’s such an existential danger why has nobody just switched it off ?

So, is the disposal of remains after a cremation known as ashtral projection ?

See the button.
Press the button.

More buttons ?
More pressing !

The only downside is the underside of the button.

All the buttons must be pressed lest their contacts corrode or oxidise and cause later button pushes to fail.

Pushing them is just doing routine maintainence to ensure reliablity.

G’wan, you know you want to. They didn’t make them not to be pushed.

So do your part, push all the buttons. Today.

Been looking forward to getting this out.

Exim is now a No-AI project.

Call out to any and all email protocol specialists and adjacent areas. I’d like to announce a new instance in the fediverse for the exim project.

https://ehlo.exim.org/

We have an announcements bot at @announce mirroring the announce email list.

And as the initial human contingent

Lead Developer - @jgh Jeremy Harris
Social Antagonist - @bernardq - my email head.

Other members of the project may eventually turn up.

We’re still trying to work out how the project interacts with the fediverse so any other projects out there that give some suggestions please chime in.

Why are they called lookup results and not cache prizes ?

That Intro Thing ...

I view myself as having multiple facets. This head is the one that does the tech stuff and has done for over 4 decades.

Originally designing hardware expansion systems for late-70s/early-80s micros, to software for encrypting modems in the mid-80s. (The adapter card I designed that let us hang 8 of these modems off the back of an AT parallel port was just silly).

Moving into unix stuff in the 90s and building quixotic frameworks to improve performance of GDS links to Oracle DBs.

Then a few years as systems manager for an ISP before moving back down to network connected embedded video playout units for a couple more.

The current paying gig is 3rd-line support for a certain large organisation where I do plumbing and security related things.

The non-paying tech habits (I could give 'em up anytime, honest) would be as sysadmin for a set of machines where the primary development of exim takes place along with my ongoing building of components to aid in content scanning.

Usually found behind a keyboard, bopping to most excellent tunes.
