I keep…sigh…my work is africanfuturism. Not afrofuturism. I do not write afrofuturism. The distinction matters. I have been explaining this since 2019. Over and over.

This is about my cultural background/foreground (something I write from within!!) and not erasing it. I took the time to write an essay defining it. I have done all I can do. At some point, people need to do their part and understand that there is cultural diversity out there and it is part of The Work.
