Yuka・川床: These are the last warm sunny days in Kyoto. Soon the temporary outdoor dining platforms along the river (yuka or kawadoko) will be taken down for the winter.

I keep…sigh…my work is africanfuturism. Not afrofuturism. I do not write afrofuturism. The distinction matters. I have been explaining this since 2019. Over and over.

This is about my cultural background/foreground (something I write from within!!) and not erasing it. I took the time to write an essay defining it. I have done all I can do. At some point, people need to do their part and understand that there is cultural diversity out there and it is part of The Work.

The US federal government has escaped containment.

@omichan @Amuamu this post about Yusai just popped up in my feed, I thought you would be interested.

As I warned about months ago now, I can confirm that Google Chrome's #AI API is now actively being used for device fingerprinting and tracking purposes.

Out of 100 of the top global english language content sites - around 30% are actively using the API for fingerprinting, Google Advertising (profiling) or both) without the legally required consent (EU law).

Train Crossing・列車の通過: Trains cross over the Kanda River next to Ochanomizu Station. Rather than shoot from the nearby Hijiribashi Bridge, I chose this spot on Sotobori Street in order to get closer to the red Marunouchi Line trains.

I was able to get all four trains in a single photo, whereas last time I needed to composite two different shots. Shot on Kodak Ektacolor 400 film.… https://hermosawavephotography.com/261008/ #列車 #鉄道写真 #御茶ノ水駅 #コダック #風景写真
