Two dog walkers were on a popular trail in Melbourne when a man leapt from some bushes and attempted to grab them. Fortunately, they were able to push him away, and their pack of 11 dogs took it from there. The pups ran him off into a tunnel, with one nipping at his ankles and even ripping off a piece of his pants. Police are searching for the suspect, and the women are reportedly unharmed and determined not to let the attack deter them. “I’m not going to let it stop me from coming to the park that I enjoy so much, and the dogs enjoy,” one told 9 News. This is Theodore. He ended up in a shelter at 8 years old after his human passed away. He was suffering from severe skin and ear infections, dental disease, heartworm, and a mass that requires removal. Thanks to an incredibly generous $5,000 donation to the @1510foundation from the folks at @titosvodka, AKA the @vodkafordogpeople, the entirety of Theodore’s care has been covered. Over the last four months, his fur has started to grow back, he’s successfully completed heartworm treatment, and he’ll soon have dental surgery and his mass removed. Then he’ll be ready to find a loving forever home to spend his golden years in ❤️‍🩹
