Every Nostr post is cryptographically signed by its author's key. Authenticity isn't a blue check sold by a platform; it's a signature anyone can verify for free. Don't trust, verify. On Nostr that's literal, not a slogan.

While the EU Commission is providing us with happy share-pics on Mastodon, they are secretly working to allow European police agencies to share information with Israel, even in the occupied areas, and would thus violate both European and international law.

Their own lawyers advocate against this, as it's illegal. The European Council advocates against it. The EU Commission does it anyway, in secret, to hide their activities from the European Council.

In 2005 the European Council declared Israel a prioritized partner of Europol. The entirety of the EU wants Europol and Israel's police to be able to work together. That is legally possible only since 2018 because the massive data privacy violations of Israel prolonged negotiations due to doubts. This 2018 agreement is the first agreement of Europol with a non-European police.

It doesn't yet allow the flow of personal data from Europe to Israel though. The EU Commission was tasked in 2018 to make another agreement that would allow the sharing of personal data.

The data the EU wants to share with Israel is any data any national European police or agency collects, which includes DNA, biometric pictures, health data, whether you're a registered member of a union, race, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, and much more.

The EU has a legal duty to not recognize Israel's occupation of Palestinian (East Jerusalem, Gaza, West Bank) and Syrian (Golan heights) territories. Therefore, each collaboration with Israel must forbid the use of shared data in these occupied territories. The EU Commission wants to allow the use of shared data in these territories anyway and it thus violates both their own European law and international law.

The EU Council stopped the EU Commission, saying what the Commission does is illegal. So the EU Commission continued in secret, without informing the Council anymore.

Even as the extremist genocidal terrorist regime of Israel approved of the death sentence and keeps prisoners without trial for torturing them.

Europol is located in Den Haag. They receive Israeli delegations for the wrong reasons in Den Haag.
