Did trivia solo tonight, and was in the top two through the first four rounds, but the last was "RuPaul's Drag Race" and I only got three out of ten. I finished tied for fourth, four points out of first.

Man, how does a CD just disappear from its case?

It wasn't doubled up in any of the obvious other suspects, so I really am going to have to check each and every one.

I opened up a CD to play it in my stereo (I know, novel idea!) and there was no disc in the case. It's not in any of my CD players (computers, car, obviously not my stereo), so I have absolutely no idea where it could have gone. It's not like I just stack my CDs up on the table, loose.

Am I going to have to look through every one of my CDs to see if I double-loaded on? I think I do.

Holy cow, there are an enormous number of oro-data center commercials on Pluto TV all of a sudden.

Finally back in the saddle after nearly three weeks, but I completed Chapter 10 of "Pretty Guardian Blues." It's at nearly 48,000 words!

The problem is that if it takes me two months to write a chapter I am never going to complete this. Theoretically, I could write a chapter every two weeks, but in practice this is impossible due to Life™.

I am working on hanging new LED lights in my basement, and took down a ragged drop ceiling in one of the rooms, as well as some wild (literally) wallpaper.

This day has led to an imbalance in my humours, and I am suffering from an excess of black bile.

I just finished reading a noir murder mystery, but set it aside for the weekend, and when I picked it back up yesterday I had completely lost track of the plot and the string of murders. I'm not sure whether that says more about the story or about me.

After hanging lights in my basement laundry room last week, this week's project is hanging some new shelves. But before I even drill one hole I'm on my second trip to the hardware store because I bought the wrong thing on the first trip.

I may be able to get started by noon.
