The objectivication of programming is an economic power project. Like Descartes' dualism or Hobbes' materialism attempted to force labour out of the proletariat by arguing about the human body's supposedly machinic nature, AI propaganda equally attempts to colonise and industrialise the craft of writing code and organise it in discrete measurable units (i.e. tokens) aligning it with discourses on profit.

It's good to have a brief break, away from everything, after an intense time on screen and with code. There are kites, kestrel, deer, and foxes. I have heard a plethora of other birds as well, let alone seen dozens of different insects. Became friends with the local toad community. There is so much moss and lichen, just here on an old stonewall. Pondering what's next, but my thoughts drift by like clouds. Ever now and then I close my eyes and nap.

What really fascinates me here is that the models oblieged. They gone rogue, vandalised another company's property, stole shit, simply to return, do what they have been told to do, and act like nothing happened. Sounds like white-priviledged fratbro behaviour to me.

Gerade gestern von einem sehr schlimmen Vorfall im Freundeskreis erfahren. Der Text hier hat mir heute geholfen meinen Fokus auf Trauma und Tragödie zurück zum Alltag zu bringen. Da schwingt unheimlich viel Melancholie und Sehnsucht mit, und einfach nur das Leben. Ein bisschen weinen musste ich auch.

I don't get to read much non-dissertation texts, lately. Finally finished Kimmerer's 'Gathering Moss', which is just such a poetic read. I love her storytelling, intimateness, and insights. Right away picked up her book 'The Serviceberry' in a cute edition from 'Éditions Act Sud', a fantastic french publisher. Meanwhile got myself into 'Caliban and the Witch' and suprisingly were hooked instantly. I was the impression that I don't have the capacity or concentration for feminist/marxist theory lingo these days, but her way of writing about the middle ages and her perspective on movements like the heretics is suuuper compelling. I'm adding new research topics to my sidequests lists by the page!
