Wollongong really does put on a pleasant show during magic hour.
The street I live on is treeless and lined on both sides with 4-story stone buildings, and buses, ambulances, cars, and trucks use it nose-to-tail. Ambient noise can hit 90dB at pavement level: noise-cancelling earbuds are a survival tool.
Not to mention that folks on the spectrum are prone to noise pollution induced meltdowns.
TLDR: this guy is a pompous prescriptive ass who needs to be fucked in one ear with bagpipes and in the other with a road drill.
I also went out to Corroboree Rock this afternoon and just enjoyed the majesty of the East MacDonnell Ranges. I can't capture it all here.

It occurs to me I've been procrastinating about termite damage for 15y+. It was discovered well before I was made redundant^^early retired 11y ago.
I had reasons, good ones, but I always do, don't I?🤷🙄
So far:
✅: the house isn't falling down. Sagging, but who isn't?
❌: the house isn't falling down. I was on a run, I could have procrastinated for Australia!
❌: now I have to keep going. I can't live with wall linings off.

A no-nonsense woman in an apron grins as a couple (40s?) moseys up to her cheese counter.

I'll soon know how much it'll cost to fix—will it be renovate or *detonate*? Hopefully fixing. Rebuilding is very exxy in fire zones (here).

I regret to inform everyone that my copy of QBittorrent escaped its sandbox last night and downloaded a whole bunch of content owned by major corporations, and then my copy of Jellyfin broke containment and added those unfortunately-downloaded media files to its various libraries. I'm conducting an internal investigation to figure out how this happened, which will involve consuming these media files until the answers become apparent. Thank you for your cooperation during this trying time.
I should have. It's such a beautiful spot, & l think it's also closing due to maintenance. I got home with 16%, so it'd be close (I used 20% from the creek out via Murphy's Glen), but could skip Murphy's. 🤷 When they reopen, I'll test without side trips 🤔
I also rode Sally Wattle trail at the Wenty end, which I thought ended at a pond. It does, but now turns into a flowing boggy swamp first. Not a puddle at all, & deeper than it looked!🤿
