I was having warm fuzzy feelings about Hamilton city council’s refusal to give in to the government’s council amalgamation shenanigans. Only to find out they also ditched STV in favour of going back to FPP! With absolutely zero consultation and in fact without even mentioning it in their self congratulatory Facebook posts about the meeting. Glad Sarah Thomson made people aware of that, and even better to have seen the names of who voted for/against. Better save that to refer back to at the next local elections. #NZPol
