Yesterday, I came across the brand "Souplantation". Whenever I read it, an extra L enters it so it comes off as "soulplantation". So it reads not as "Soup Plantation", not just, "Soul Plantation", but "SOULLLL Plantation". Which always makes me think, "WTF?"

In my head, Soulplantation would have the most racist commercials,. They'd be a mashup of Soul Train and cotton plantations,, with everyone speaking in minstrel, but somehow also jive.

The whole thing give off the feel of something that would be in the "The Confederate States of America" mockumentary.

They *should* feel unsafe. Every billionaire should feel unsafe. Every politician should feel unsafe. Every person who has an outsized influence on a large group of people should feel unsafe.

If they feel safe, they do whatever the fuck they want, consequences be damned. They've clearly expressed no sense of empathy or compassion. It's only when they feel unsafe that they do the right thing that they should have done in the first place.

UPDATE: Missing hiker located in Strathcona Provincial Park
We’re very happy to share that Keshav Jindal has been located alive after an extensive search in the Mount Albert Edward area of Strathcona Provincial Park.
Keshav was located in steep terrain, and search and rescue crews are currently working to safely bring him out of the area.
