I was pleased to find the retroreflective tape was the right width to use as a binding. One hi-vis quilt coaster, ready for use (for drinking tea in low-light environments?) 🤔

I've got an idea to make a patchwork hi-vis garment, but I don't have any experience so today I'm doing a small test object in preparation

I had a marvellous time at #EMFCamp and am so grateful to everyone who made this event possible. I already have plenty of ideas for new projects, and some materials on the way. Looking forward to seeing you all in the field again (after a good rest)!

I just got to see the rapid response deed poll service in action with a double name change. So beautiful. These folk answered in one and half rings of the dect phone and were on site in one minute and ten seconds. These wonderful people take the rapid response part seriously.

My #embroidery “baygoose tapestry” is now live on the wall of the Robot Arms at #emfcamp . That means I can’t work on it anymore and have to find something else to do with my hands, eyes, and mind. Luckily there seems to be a lot going on here!

My favourite thing so far at #EMFCamp : amazing wooden duck phones (with light-up eyes and quacking to indicate ringing)

The #emfcamp volunteer registration system is open! I highly recommend doing a volunteer shift if you haven't before.

You get to meet new people, and you get a free meal from the volunteer kitchen in return which is 1000% worth it - the food there is amazing and caters to every dietary restriction. Plus if you volunteer for two shifts you get a voucher for a guaranteed ticket for EMF2028.

2024 was one of our smoothest years ever because so many people volunteered!
