Like how many years ago people asked for proper exit codes based on what it does: nothing, renews, errors.
The response from the devs was "use pre/post/deploy hook scripts, we'll call them when appropriate"
ok but that's not what was asked for. They asked for proper exit codes. If you can figure out when a hook is supposed to fire you can certainly figure out how to use the right exit code.
Or maybe not, is their Go code that fucking bad? @ctt I’ve been using Kagi for some months now. It’s an added cost, but SO worth it. The enjoyment of the good search results plus lack of ads can’t be overstated.
And you get used to that combo fast. I recently had to use my wife’s phone to look up something. She uses Google for her search engine, and the results were presumably buried under a list of related items to shop for and whatever else, but between that and the unclear navigation for even how to look for non-shopping-related options (how do I get to a video about this instead, for instance), I never did get what I was looking for and gave up. Looked it up on my phone, found what I needed on the first result hit. 🤷♂️
Added: I left FF a short while back, so was at a loss for what (preferably non-Chromium) browser to use for my iPhone, and the Kagi group also has a browser option called Orion, which isn’t bad.
