Being near the ocean is funny. 24°, feels like 34°, and our boat tomorrow to go fishing may not be safe due to winds.

I never came back to this, but thanks to lack of consistency and reliability of TTC operations and line management, I was unable to check a bag at the airport and lost $101 in fees. Luckily the bag was carry-on sized and the contents were OK to carry on. But the stress.

My favourite thing is when transit advocates forget they’re on the same team and attack each other, and the right wing politicians continue blocking better transit the entire time. It’s totally working guys.

Bradford votes to block housing density in rich neighbourhood.

This corner has 4-6 storey buildings around it. Great example of the absurdity of Toronto. And Bradford was the deciding vote against more housing.

Cybertruck confirmed as the biggest automotive flop in history.

I haven’t taken the TTC 900 to the airport in a decade. First time trying it has been a circus of randomized schedule, arrival, digital display, plus the entirely different sadness of a street-involved man riding the bus eating an entire roast chicken with his hands. Makes me so sad as someone who wants to promote transit - there has been nothing on this journey to point to as positive beyond less pollution.

Is it elite projection when you want to bus to the airport to show up instead of just staying parked for ten minutes past the digital screen time. asking for a frustrated husband.
