I decided to turn back time and do #AdventOfCode 2015. I've done through problem 16 so far. OMG these are so fun! They're original. They're a little brain twisty without being out of this world hard.
The last couple of years the problems had been somewhat repetitive - same concept with a different twist. Not that they weren't fun but they were solving the same problem. I hope that with fewer problems we'll get back to more original things.

As a throwaway at the top of the talk, Joe talked about ~ and using it for simplified list access from the right. I thought it was really cool so I wrote it up. I hope you think it's cool too.

Can I say how awesome it is that I can find an issue, talk to some people and make sure it's not just me, and push up a fix so that other people don't hit the same thing. This is the power of Open Source. This is what makes #Python great.

I am so glad I decided to drive to #PyOhio. What a great experience! Great talks, great keynotes, great conversations. The people who came to my talk were so supportive and gave me wonderful feedback.

I have been having so much fun at #PyOhio so far! I didn't manage to go to any talks yesterday other then the keynotes or my own - I was too busy getting myself ready and doing the final things for it - but I have had so many great conversations. Was great being able to hang out with people I had seen but not interacted too much with at #PyConUS. Looking forward to today when I have much less on my plate. Highlights are @itsthejoker telling us anout lambdas and @chrisjrn 's closing keynote.

If you're at #PyOhio my talk, "This is Not the NaN You're Looking For" is at 2:15 in Ballroom B. Come and learn about floats that aren't numbers and have some fun in the process.

A lot of great talks and interactions at the @blackpythondevs Leadership Summit. Dinner with @stylus @scunning @itsthejoker and others followed by some lobby gaming. Lots of fun at #PyOhio so far. And the conference doesn't start till tomorrow morning! I'm doing the first shift at the registration desk tomorrow morning so say "Hi" when you get your badge!

There's a Ben & Jerry's not far from the #PyOhio venue. Thinking we might need to channel our inner @mariatta and do an #IceCreamSelfie after Sunday's closing.
