Bank accounts held by #Trump were closed by #CapitalOne in 2021 after it flagged financial activity that had characteristics of #MoneyLaundering, the bank disclosed in a court filing over the weekend.
The filing is tied to a lawsuit filed against CapitalOne by one of Trump’s financial holding companies shortly after he was sworn into office a 2nd time. Trump alleges CapitalOne closed his accounts for political reasons, following the #Jan6 insurrection.

As a nation, the US has many problems (healthcare costs, housing and education cost/availability, divided people, political influence/corruption, concentration of wealth in the 1%). All of these took decades to get to this point.
Even drastic regime change will not fix the problems overnight here in the nation of instant gratification.
Our government is designed not to support drastic regime change overnight.
The changes we hope and wish for may take a generation.

It’s getting to the point that I don’t trust any kind of anonymous opinion poll of anything that might be used to collect intel on my political views that could be used against me.
