I start to wonder if AI is China’s version of Reagan’s Star Wars—goading us into bankrupting ourselves by trying to compete with them on something that ultimately doesn’t work.

so we can say it's not manufactured and fake provocation, this is the dude's real deal

i would also entertain the notion he is completely authentic: he is not trying to get a reaction from us, that he sincerely believes he is delivering an honest product

so it's tongue-in-cheek art project or sincere work of a bizarre dude. but we both agree it's not fake bizarreness for the sake of media drama
