i'm seeing several covid advocacy accounts posting to refute kathleen stock's 'social contagion' piece about women who use canes and ambulatory wheelchair users, and they are not mentioning her terf origins and the origin of calling everything she doesn't like a social contagion. i feel like it's important to say it and is a missed opportunity for solidarity between disabled and trans movements. and it's really bothering me

I didn't switch to diy because I suddenly lost access to hrt via the medical system, fortunately, but because I reflected on the fact that collectively we lose capabilities that we don't exercise, and it's vitally important that we keep diy hrt going. Nobody can ever stop us doing this.
