I was in Bisbee Arizona, walking around it's twisty streets when a guy stepped out of a doorway and said "c'mere, give this a try." this book so much fun. i first heard of this classic macintosh modding book years ago when i was looking for a way of running my color classic in 640x480. the homepage was roughly translated japanese which briefly mentioned its source: Doping Mac. if you've heard the words "takky" or "mystic" before in the mac world, this is where they got published.
i’m delighted to learn that the book is almost like the annals of the mac mod club - true devotees of the architecture who wanted to push their machines as aesthetically and electronically as far as they could go, and have fun doing it. the book’s presentation is gorgeous.
(side note: this was my first experience using Buyee. because this was a $5 “junk” book (probably due to a mild mildewy smell), i had nothing to lose. it took about a month to arrive, and had some corner damage from improper packing - but i couldn’t be happier with it.)
it is so weird how a reflecting pool gets as much, if not more, coverage than a perpetual war with no reason for starting and no objectives for concluding.

Think about it. If millions of women wore smart glasses, recording men's behaviour, conversations, comments, their driving & bar chats ... can you imagine the panic? Smart glasses would be regulated before you can say the word 'Meta'.
