Headline without a story: it's technically correct that inspections were ordered on 737MAX planes. But Seattle Times +similar from many outlets are being misleading. Inspection for cracks are normal maintenance of every airliner. Cracks were found at a galley door during inspection of older 737NGs and inspections were ordered. Now, since newer 737MAXs have same structure, the same inspections were added to MAX maintenance procedures. The cracks weren't found in 737MAXs. #aviation #travel #avgeek
