@evan I oft think about how in the heyday of status.net, for which those of us in the know remember as an amazing piece of work you did, that Twitter suddenly decided to dismantle the two way bridge.

I see posts redirected to #Fediverse from #BlueSky & #Threads & I smh.
I came back to microblogging (I refuse to call it social media 👴) precisely because Fediverse acheived the dream you reached for in status.net. Let's push to leave the rest behind.
(Also thinking about how Trump uses Mastodon).
