some notes on performing at October AlgoRhythms:
- is the event like a bright star - slowly shrinking but becoming more brilliant as it does so?
- white dwarf future or supernova?
- I had in mind a list of three tracks that I had previously written, a couple in last week, one from august
- I couldn't find one of them, but eventually did
- great dancing by the audience, that was a real buzz
- in my code-jay-ing comfort zone, making use of midi controller to add variation
- this breaks my streak of about three from-scratch solo performances
- i'm not sure if i'll ever be able to code fast, I don't come up with ideas the same way under pressure, can't think straight on stage mostly
- didn't look up enough despite telling Chau that I was intending to shortly before starting
- played the last track backwards somehow hehe but it was all good
- was fun to perform with Chau on vis as always : )
