Hi! I’m about to relaunch my word game Whirred, for Android and Web and with a new daily puzzle mode (it’s been on iOS for years). But to get listed in the Google Play Store if you’re not a business, you need 12 Android users to install and open a test version of your app??? Android users, please help me! I did this for you! You don’t even need to play it (but also it’s good)

Everybody, go look at these 3d scans of random restrooms around the world!

What happened to this porta potty? Smote by god?

Someone* gave a nod to go check out SIGBOVIK this year, I'm only four sentences in on one paper and god bless SIGBOVIK, the only venue we need.

Hmu with other favorites, there's no way I'm going to be able to read every one

Perfectly normal

so I get all these concert emails from venues and I have no idea who the bands are so I just ignore them, but I want to go to more small concerts and I figure I’m probably missing out on a ton of cool concerts. so I wrote a script to generate a weekly playlist of incoming concerts from my email and give me each artist’s top three songs. anyway, in a month I've been moderately excited about one band from this. not sure what to make of this

Casting Orville Peck as Vega in the new Street Fighter movie feels racist somehow

If you wanna understand me as a person, you need to understand that the tzdb is the most important piece of software ever made. Because of this, its changelogs are required reading: https://lists.iana.org/hyperkitty/list/tz@iana.org/thread/VX2Z3CBO6KHTYZNBBKFFWM7ZCI6TVCXP/

Like, a software bug causing a different end to DST in British Columbia that what was legislated? That's hilarious and amazing.

So everybody update their tzdb, new timezones just dropped babeee!
