Tonight we have an extra kid in the house. Yup- it's a school night, but that doesn't matter. If there is a kid that needs help or refuge for a few days they are ALWAYS welcome here until the dust settles. We do this because we are parents too, and life is complicated. If it was our kid that needed help we would hopevthat another parent would provide a safe place to land.
As our communities move into virtual spaces we gotta make sure we don't forget the real world.
