@moonrabbit here's Gertie and her new toy!

I just had my first tomato that I grew myself!! It was orange-red in color and I was watering my garden before the heat of the day and I just plucked it and ate it! The rest of the bunch should be ready tomorrow or Sunday.

Here's some photos of my tomatoes. The first 3 are cherry tomatoes, the last is the mystery tomato plant I picked up at a yard sale.

Yinz!! I just had my first carrot from my garden!! I was so excited I ate it before I thought to take a pic! It was a spindly 4-inches long (10 cm) and was really sweet!!

I was out there watering before the heat of the day, and tugged on a carrot to see how they were doing. I think they need a few more weeks.

And!! One of the tomato bunches is yellow-orange!!! I'll have my first tomatoes to eat soon!!!

I know you all think Gertie is the cutest puppy ever, but you've got to understand that 4.8 pounds of dog launching herself on your face at 5:30 am on a weekend because the sun is out and therefore she must be played with is not cute. It's adorable.

Took an edible for the pain after work tonight. It provided a couple of hours of light relief. The pain came screaming back when I went up to bed at 8pm. Every step up the stairs radiated pain up and down my leg. I tried sleeping but just is laid there. I'm up now at 1:30 am icing my hip having taken ibuprofen and more CBD.

Had my PAP smear today.Really great Nurse Practitioner, thorough, genuinely cared. If you need the name of a great OB/GYN in the Columbus area, DM me.

Anyway, this sticker was on the dry erase board facing the exam end of the table. So when my legs were in the air, Brutus was was peeking down there.

Got a referral to weight management (at my request to help with the hip pain). The soonest available appointment is April 1, 2027. I wish this was a joke.

Walked slowly and intentionally to Dunkin this afternoon and had no increase in hip pain. I did start having an anxiety attack, so I took lorazepam afterwards, at like 1 pm. It's now 6:15 and still working. I forgot how strong this is!

Hubby made 4 molds yesterday and today from his sculptures. The whole process to finished product is:
1 - sculpt

2 - make a mold of the sculpture
*we are here at this stage with multiple sculptures*

3 - pour resin in the mold and attach the bits and bobs (wheels, magnet, cars)

4 - find people who love them and buy them

So we're at phase 2. For those keeping track, here's the mold of the trilobite sculpture he was working on previously. When he casts this in resin, a Hot Wheels car will be embedded in it as the resin cures.
