Enjoying all the products, services and goods that are trying to associate themselves with "the football" without having an official license to do so.
My favourite so far?
Penalty kick donuts from Morrisons which were just regular iced donuts with slightly different coloured icing and sprinkles than their standard range of iced donuts.
This is how to break the news to the kids (both old and young) that Doctor Who has been cancelled.
Doctor Who has had to go and live on streaming platform in a different country that Geolocks it content in such a way the even a VPN doesn't work, so you won't be able to see them any more.
You can tell it's Scottish summer. Every other person I have saw out today (and me) are wearing an waterproof/windproof outdoor jacket rated to go up a small mountain.
I am having technical issues

Lol, the 80's A-Team tv series never took itself too seriously but some of the unintentional humour is glorious. Some of the stunt doubles are hilarious, dodgy wigs a plenty. Even some of the B-Roll shots of the 'team' driving in the van along dirt roads are quite clearly not the actual actors.
I never noticed this stuff as a kid but as old git it gives it an extra dimension of enjoyment seeing the sometimes dodgy production values.

It goes without saying that Scots aged 60 and over also get free bus travel at all times.
I wonder what is the average time between a Prime Minister publicly stating that they won't resign and then actually resigning.

Usually with the economy option it will give a two or three day delivery time.
However I purchased two items both under £10 on two separate day and both are saying a 5 day lead time.
The usual form for economy deliver is that other than acknowledging your order NOTHING will happen until the day before they deliver it and it will processed as if you ordered next day delivery.
I wonder if the extension of economy delivery lead time is another incentive to pay for delivery.
Amazon is great at trying to inconvenience folk into paying them extra money for nothing.
UK based observation so mileage may vary in other locations.
I don't buy a lot from Amazon, If I can get what I want on the high street without it being much more expensive then I will and the HS prices are often very competitive.
I don't have Amazon Prime but can usually wangle free delivery.
If there is an option to deliver to my local post office this is called economy delivery and is free. (1/2)
In the next year or two I will reach a strange threshold where I will have had more birthdays in the 21st Century than the 20th.
This seems so a wild as even as teenager the 21st Century was so far away and futuristic to me.
I am less inclined to believe that we are living in a simulation these days as some of the scenarios we are experiencing would not have passed the QA test for maintaining the illusion of reality.
I lost a small sliver of tooth about 2 weeks before I was due for my regular checkup. It wasn't bothering me other than a roughness on my tongue when I touched it.
So today was the big day.
Turns out it was small piece of filling that I lost and I had forgotten was a filled tooth.
It was fixed in 5 mins, no numbing needed. In a way I am glad it was an old filling rather than a bit of actual tooth that had gone bad.
The rest of my mouth was fine.
Its time the working Parliament was moved away from London.
We can slowly repair the old building as a tourist attraction and move to a custom campus in the middle of the country.
Include some very nice "dormitories" for MP's so they can live comfortably while working there.
We would soon see the centre of gravity of power move from London to the new place.

Interesting to hear the extension of Sunday Trading being talked about again in the news.
I know my sister who has lived in England for nearly two decades still enjoys the longer Sunday shopping hours when she comes home to visit Scotland as there are no Sunday Trading restrictions.
The one thing that caught her out are the alcohol rules. Retailers can only sell boozes between 10am and 10pm. Even if the shops hours are longer.
I often wonder why the A-Team escaped to the Los Angeles mass transit system and not somewhere more homely.
Does anyone on here have experience of prosthetic limbs, either professionally and/or as a user?
Kari and Tory, the former Mythbusters, have a video where they show a human-esque robot walking and it is so realistic. The creators "prove" its real by cutting away the material from its covering on the bottom half of one of its legs.
However to myself and some YT commentators think it looks like it could be a prosthetic limb user. I would really like an educated opinion.

I have never owned a colander.
I nearly bought one the other day.
That is all.
Lol just had a memory flashback to my 1st broadband internet setup.
No WiFi.
USB modem that was plugged into the phone line via an ADSL filter.
Got half a megabit at first and that gradually increased to 2 then 6 megabits over time.
No WiFi was fine until I got my laptop then I had to buy a Wireless router (and dongle for the laptop) as it still wasn't standard equipment that your ISP supplied.
Now WiFi is synonymous with the internet for most Normies these days.
