Does anyone know of a particular source for the recent popularity of the term "somatic" in recent art/aesthetics/philosophy discourse?

I know it from Kieran Egan's 90s cognitive theory of learning & knowledge but I suspect it's coming from some other reference(s).

I must admit, it's a good word to describe non-verbal ways of knowing.

Sad to hear that the thousand year old Major Oak has died. I last saw it in Sherwood Forest three years ago. Apparently its demise was hastened by a combination of recent heatwaves and propping up the limbs, so the trunk dried out as it couldn't manage to feed enough water to the branches which would otherwise have fallen off

@praxeology We also had some salesmen in our house in #berlin, trying to sell us a #glasfaseranschluss, telling us that DSL will be shut down soon. However, our landlord informed everyone in the building that this is a Scam.

According to the #tagesschau (https://www.tagesschau.de/wirtschaft/verbraucher/glasfaser-haustuere-100.html) this seems to happen quite frequently.

Anyone else in #Berlin having hassles with over-the-top aggressive door-to-door fiber optic salesmen from Telekom? They come here every other week and we end up slamming the door in their faces every time because they just won't accept "no thanks". It almost makes me wonder if there's some kind of scam involved.
