As we come up on our kitties’ second birthday (observed), I once again cast my eye back to see how much they’ve changed. For instance, here they are on Sunday, and exactly one year earlier. So startling!

Two kitties snuggling in a chair, heads raised to look at the camera with alert ears and lazy green-gold eyes. The left one is a shining black cat with her front paw sticking out rightward to snug under her brother’s chin. The left cat, a fuzzy gray tabby, has his front paw thrown leftward across his sister’s shoulder. They’re very cute.

The same two cats, in slightly different light but the same chair. This time the gray tabby, again on the right, has his eyes squeezed shut in contentment, while the glossy black cat looks at us with her front leg thrown across her brother. They’re very cute.
