Esp. when some of us have horrible shit going on in our private lives as well. I really need a respite for horrific shit and I minda use Mastodon for that.
Personally I kinda use Bluesky more for the ‘how is the world fucked up today’ kind of stuff. Though, tho. to your point: there’s certainly more of that there in general, and IMHO Mastodon is just worse at covering those things in general.
