What the fuck. Someone literally in front of me just used ChatGPT to both plug in a transformation artist's art piece and one of my fursona character sheets from FA and basically make an exact replica of the image with my fursona replacing the character in the transformation image in basically the same position.

I hate this so much, I told them to delete it immediately. Now I'm worried as hell how many YCHs might be AI or repeated badges or just...Wow, this sucks so much.

Is it weird I use a CRT/VCR combo as an electronic badge at furry conventions?

It works really well, I run a T-30 cassette inside... so every 31 minutes the electronic badge starts showing snow while the tape auto-rewinds. Runs in an infinite loop without having to poke it.

I just put on a harness for carrying it and have 8-10 hours of autonomous power in my backpack

squirted a little bit of plastic glue into the holes where I drilled out the rivets. hope that's gonna be good enough to hold it shut. in hindsight UV glue might have been a better choice…

and here it is reinstalled in the switch before slathering it all in grease.

3d printed a small fixture to hold the slider and make it easier to sand the wire down until the height is just right.

Oh my god, Aetna as a health insurance sucks so much. Literally have to wait 1-3 business days for a simple ointment for potential eczema. This is insanity.

Poster wall from a couple months ago for my video club. I want to make a new one with more of the fresh posters - move this one to the back of the theater so people could see past history.

The posters are made with the video machine itself, so they are also a snapshot of what style feedback loops were following the given movies at the time. I always fiddle with the feedback loops, so the visual style keeps changing stream to stream.
