One reason against it, from a non-technical view is maybe decentralization.
So not one instance is serving 1000 communities...

But beside that:

I would like to make more imstanced for different communities.
But as I'm not doing self-hosting yet, the bill would become bigger and bigger...

Have you thought about that yet for loops and pixelfed @dansup ?
