All of this nonsense about getting kids off social media is really just a cover for not legislating the social media companies to make the spaces safe for everyone.
They of course, don't want that as it would affect profits.
Explain again how profits are more important to a society than safe spaces?

I've noticed an influx of new people posting to #Running and wanted to say this:
How fast, slow, or far you run isn't as important as you are making time for yourself to be active. In the world today, that is one of the most important things.
If you're injured, like I am (grrrr), there are other activities you can do to get back to running.
The community here is second to none. Cheering, kindness, and support. 🖖🏻🎉
Thursday #Workout:
11 minutes of yoga for runners.
30 minutes of yoga.
14.3 KM of #Cycling (18°C, 57% humidity, and 9 KM/H wind).
Yoga was *tough* (and there is no way for me to grab my ankle like in the screenshot without dislocating something). Then biked out to site to meet with a contractor, then biked into the market, and I have one more medium-length ride for the day … it's gotten unacceptably hot out (28°C).
Tuesday #Workout:
11 minutes of yoga for runners.
30 minutes of yoga.
11.1 KM of #Walking (11°C, 81% humidity, and 12 KM/H wind).
So much yoga. I continue to not be very bendy-stretchy, but maybe, just maybe, some progress is happening.
Then a quick walk, picking up groceries on the way home.
So much to do today.
Also pleased to report this is more people than the first Ottawa Tweetup that I could find (9) at Patty Bolands Pub way back in the day.

“One spring day – I was running along the path through a lovely forested section, really struggling to keep my pace up, and felt quite defeated. Then this young university student comes around the bend, sees me and gives me a big double-thumbs-up with a grin. I waved back and managed to run for another thirty minutes before slowing to a walk.”
