It is always strange to see exercise equipment in gyms without any laundry on them drying.

Insecure. Imposter Syndrome. Constant feelings that I am not enough. Take your pick.

Regardless, when I try to go above and beyond at work to sate those feelings, I find myself in trouble.

Someone else's job. Not the proper process. I was not ordered to do it. Take your pick.

It's alright. I was going to blame myself either way.

The NCAA just sort of got between universities and television networks one day. Now it is a huge, multi million dollar organization.

Cannot wait until some organization does that with AI and then holds copyright of anything all AI models make.

The AI coding is such an interesting debate.

A project uses 15 open source components and you then sell it on the street as yours.

If AI creates software can you sell that?

So much of the worldview is through the lens of #capitalism.

AI could be a tool to free you from the shackles of software. Create what you need?

But PROFIT?

"How is prahfet formed, Yahoo Answers?"

How do I put food on my table and afford to buy iPhone 9006?

I am nothing but meat without my internalized capitalism

TIL that Technotronic was a Belgian group. Now I want the AI music video of the song with David Suchet's Poirot dancing.

MC Hammer's lyrical genius:
This is it for a winner
Dance to this and you're gonna get thinner.

CPU cores are just like people at work. Only 2 do any real work.

Maybe this approval web is easier to understand in that it is very confusing and that's what planning vacations around team members is like when there's a lack of leadership and you 'just have to figure it out between yourselves so it doesn't overlap.'

The over-simplified way to plan a vacation when you have 3 other coworkers and your time off cannot overlap. First in flowchart:

Wow. I fell down the C2PA well and how damn disappointing is that.

"Hi we know that in 3 years time, from half a million AI generated pieces of media online in 2023 to 8+ billion by 2025, that we need trust. We've developed an open standard of provenance and cryptographic signing to create trust."

"Oh, we decided to hand it over to your favorite signing authorities so it will cost you and those businesses are totally trustworthy."

We have @letsencrypt why?

Oh, right.

"We're all beta testers."

This is a common sentiment among users of technology created by greedy corporations pursuing profit over functionality.

The truth is, not all people are beta testers. For example, the people who make the commercials advertising that your family photos are totally safe and secure on a platform 8 underpaid 19 year olds built overnight live pretty much bug free. Their process to make people believe bull shit is perfection.

Anthropologists in the future will find old Youtube thumbnails and think The Tiger King was a blonde, 15 year old girl since Youtubers have to put their face on the cover of every one of their videos.

I just need something premade to eat.

Bag o' chips: here's some chips and mostly air.

Premade salad: Here's more lettuce than can fit in this container!

So coding is about build something with a metro-fuck-ton of open source dependencies, but if an AI does that it is bad?

As a designer, I get it. Them robutts are taking our jobs.

It's just interesting that technological advancements democratized video and audio for a time because the new tools allowed anyone to make content. There were jobs lost then too. We don't talk about that, though.

The real problem with AI is the branding. Instead of telling us that it was tech billionaires and lines of codes calling the shots, the should have said cute puppets were doing all the work behind the scenes.

#Tinypuppetsound

#Drupal We believe you should take 3 left turns to make a right.

It's turtles all the way down.

A DJ is someone mixing music of others and now the puppet is being animated by someone else.

Whoa.

Looking for music to listen to as I work and found Tinypuppetsound on YT.

I mean, why not have a puppet DJ?

Maybe we as humans wouldn't need to work 40hrs a week if we didn't spend so much times trying to justify our worth by making changes to someone else's work.

The pwnagotchi and bjorn are great pi zero projects if you make youtube content. Practically, they are so buggy I don't see how..

Oops, sorry. You'll have to reboot to read the rest of this comment.
