@librarysquirrel is terrible and that shouldn't get lost in this. There's a human factor. I'm sorry for everyone caught in the middle of that (including you, if that's the case). I think your post was probably in good faith and I understand this is an emotional topic too, so I don't want to argue it too much. People need to make their own decisions... users, developers, etc. It's fundamentally a rotten situation. Linux isn't usually my first pick for personal use, but I never wished for anything bad to happen to it or the community.
