We went to the emergency care extension near our home (a public-private partnership) because our 13-year-old broke a finger playing basketball.

They did three X-rays and applied a splint. Our out-of-pocket cost? Around €30 (~€10 because it was not the public E.R.), which will be fully reimbursed by insurance later.

How lucky we are in France to have such an excellent healthcare system! A shame we have to constantly fight to preserve it.
