Wow. That was an intense game. Not as bad of a loss as I thought it would be after the first period.

The cross-checking penalty by Hartmez was totally unnecessary and poor discipline. The one on Primerano was important to call because it was a dangerous hit from behind, but it wasn't worse than other hits that were NOT called today. I think the refs let this game get more physical than necessary and aren't being consistent in their calls.

MN was LUCKY to get out of that 5-on-3. Clark has been spectacular.

Clark giving Minnesota a chance at the end of that period. Going to be tough coming out into the second still on the kill, but there's a still a chance for MN to turn it around.

Uh oh. That time Dunne was open on the doorstep.

If the Gophers don't get the next goal, I don't think they'll be able to come back.

#SportsPuck #CollegeHockey #GopherHockey #WCHA

That was just sloppy coverage. Jungåker was wide open. Hoping that doesn't open the floodgates for the Buckeyes.

For most goalies, a game where you let in five goals is not a good game.

Tonight, however, the MSU goalie can hold her head up knowing that she made FOURTY-FUCKING-SIX saves tonight.

Hats off to her.

Wisconsin took the game 5-1 after a big third period.

Holy heck, the MSU goalie is a freshman and this is her first collegiate game?! She's made 34 saves tonight so far.

#SportsPuck #CollegeHockey #WCHA

The cat is staring at the TV. I guess she also likes watching the players chase the puck around.

And as soon as I posted, Wisconsin scored! With 32 shots on goal, a second one was bound to go in, eventually.

Meanwhile, in Madison, Wisconsin and Mankato State are tied up at one heading into the third.

#SportsPuck #CollegeHockey #BadgerHockey #WCHA

Woooo!! Minnesota hung on and finished 6-2! Take that, Buckeyes!

Here's hoping that OSU doesn't come out dirty tomorrow. You know that Muz is going to rip them into pieces after tonight.

#SportsPuck #CollegeHockey #GopherHockey #WCHA

Wow. That didn't look like a major to me. But maybe I'm just used to the uneven officiating in the #PWHL 🙄

#SportsPuck #GopherHockey #CollegeHockey #WCHA

Hell, yeah! Another PP goal for the Gophers! But not even a four-goal lead is safe from the Buckeyes; it's only early in the second, so it's far too soon to think this is a done deal.

#SportsPuck #GopherHockey #CollegeHockey #WCHA

Too tired to pay attention to multiple games tonight, so I'm just focusing on the Gophers kicking OSU's butt (so far). Up 3-zip at first intermission!

#SportsPuck #CollegeHockey #GopherHockey #WCHA

They had a fan from each state come in with their flag before the game started, but I think they used the old, racist MN flag?

#sportsball #BananaBall

Phooey.

Hit the ceiling again. 🤦

Puck hit the ceiling. It *is* a shame that such a strong program is stuck in such a dinky rink. They only have seating on one side of the rink and a little behind one goal.

Wisconsin tie it up on a PP after Joy Dunne took out Ava McNaughton in a serious way (luckily, McNaughton was able to recover and stay in the crease).

I am not thrilled that the Frost drafted a Buckeye as their first round pick.
