I kept thinking about this song during the hockey game last night whenever there was a breakaway and a rush.

Finally finished episode 31 so I would not be spoiled and could instead enjoy a fic.

Talk about a red wedding!

I thought it was possible that Fuyao *was* actually the crazy princess's daughter, possibly.

I have doubts that Yun Hen will be able to actually kill the prime minister. I think he cares too much about growing up with his godfather.

Will Qi Yun survive? Get to keep the dragon scale armor to keep living?

When does Fuyao get to have her own face back?

What is Prince Fierce up to?

The number of times I've watched this silly "Super Tuna" music video and today was the first time I realized the fish calls Jin "형"! That means both Jin and the fish are male.

Jin proposes to a male tuna fish.

I figure @pixelcats must have seen this already, but probably won't mind being reminded.

I especially appreciated that pipa throw because Lan Xiang can't always be the only brave one. She was genuinely terrified when the burning Du Cui Que came at her. That the formerly meek sister counter attacked and saved her means Lan Xiang doesn't have to be the only strong one.

Lin Jin Qi is standing far more upright and strong on that boat after being sliced open 5 different ways. Ow ow ow. And his poor left hand!

#cdrama #AgainstTheCurrent

If we are supposed to recognize the head fighting pirate as someone other than head fighting pirate, i do not. I was hoping he'd have an extra long pointer finger on his left hand.

I appreciated the showdown between Du Cui Que and Lan Xiang. The bluff by Lan Xiang, the weak women with oil lamps turning into oil throwing women ready to set fire to attackers. And the newly widowed sister throwing her pipa to save Lan Xiang.

#MyWeekCounted #Music

This week was chaotic and I didn't know which day was what half the time. And strong emotions on multiple days, too.

D.O.'s music has long been a mood stabilizer for me. And &team is very conducive for being in the zone at work.

Listen. I know it is October. And it is ridiculous to turn the A/C on in October in Minnesota. But it is 80F both inside and outside of my house at 10pm and ain't nobody able to sleep in that temp. Even opening windows will not help in this situation.

It is wild to put on a hoodie plus jacket plus fleece boots to go to a hockey game when it is 85F outside.

But it is definitely not 85F at the rink. 🥶

Han Liang returns! I wonder if we'll get confirmation that he married that townswoman.

Is Du Cui Que possibly linked to the exiled royal that Lin Jin Qi helped escape?

I am sad for the Marquis to die. Did he really have no sons? Then his wife did the right thing by fighting for her daughters to inherit. Unless she is secretly pregnant with a son...

And the scholar who saved 2nd sister - her first fiancé? Will they reunite?

#cdrama #AgainstTheCurrent

Ha, good diplomatic answer, Lin Jin Qi!

"Other than my wife, what woman's face could I possibly remember for over ten years?"

It explains why he didn't recognize Ji Er all those years ago, but I'm not sure this endears him to his feminist wife as much as he thinks.

Although there are so few details in that drawing, it is hard to believe anyone could be recognizable.

The location is the old townhall, Without too much ado it has become a hub for social and cultural lines in and around town. People feeling safe. There were around 115 people coming in the building for a chat and a drink. Perfect atmosphere after a short walk together.

I just finished the #kdrama #TheOrdinaryJackpot where the lead is an office worker only ok at his management job and his life is just kinda uninspired.

And then he wins the lottery. ~1.4 million USD. Big enough to make changes in his life, but not super rich.

It is like a 2026 version of the movie "Office Space" but includes the railroad crossing from the office-based #MyMister . The lead actually reminds me of the lead from "Office Space".

I think I have to chew on it a bit.

Welp, when the opposing team already has 23 shots on goal by the end of the FIRST period, and they're up 3-0, this does not look like the best weekend for the home team.

They've just hooked up a giant slingshot between the zamboni and penalty boxes??

I love this song and it was stuck in my head this morning.

I did NOT expect it to have choreography and especially not this kind of choreography. 👀

He was always going to help her break the seals, but by challenging her to steal his golden leaf thing, it is fun for him to see what kinds of ways she'd try to get to it.

I did not expect a martial arts strip tease wet t-shirt contest in the bath where they are literally ripping each other's clothes off.

*slow clap*
