"In 500 years they will dig up your bones and they will know you were a maaaaan!"
"I'll deal with that when it happens."
"You stupid? You'll be dead for 500 years!!"
"Ah, see. I knew there was a reason why I didn't care."

"National Anthem“ (2023) is such an incredible movie.

Eve Lindley and Mason Alexander Park are incredible. And hot :blobcatgiggle:

Since the squirrel became my heraldic animal I was looking for a small one to put on my purse.

Say hi to Pinsel (German for paintbrush, because of the ears :blobcat_coy:).
Pinsel certainly is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns (mainly because I couldn't decide on a binary gender :blobcatjoy:)

What I absolutely love are these … waves? of hair in front of my ears :blobcatgiggle:

When I'm looking away from the camera I leave out CWs. I hope that's okay? :ablobcatsweatsip:

Today's outfit is very low key :blobcat_coy:

So, it occurred to me last week, after having a bad week at my current job, that I don't actually know how many people truly enjoy the work they do.

So, I'm taking a very scientific poll.

What is your attitude toward your work? If you work multiple jobs or gigs, consider the one that's the biggest portion of your income. If you have worked in the past but aren't now, consider your most recent job.

Good morning, my fabulous friends and family :squirrellove:

My work monitor was getting a little droopy/sad looking and tilting forward. I asked my coworker if he knew where I could find a hex driver, he said "you should have them". Luckily he pointed out why and how before I spiraled into wondering if I have been deficient in my work obligations.

This is actually thoughtful and helpful design. The fact that is the opposite of user hostile and hence surprising to me is telling quite the story about the state of affairs / my mind. Well done HumanScale, you earned the human in your company name!

I often confuse English native speakers, because I pronounce the word "femme" French and not English.

Listened to the first episode of a German lesbian podcast and the hosts tell fun facts about each other.

And one of them wraps remote controls in plastic film so the space between the buttons doesn't get dirty. :blobcatdizzy:

I … I can't … YUCK! I would not be able to use a remote that is wrapped in foil!

I thought this was an urban legend passed on by bourgeois comedy shows!

I think I will summarize some of the replies, so I don't repeat myself too often.

Disclaimer ahead: I'm very sure, whatever one thinks one "is into" appearance-wise is absolutely irrelevant if you fall in love with someone. If it feels right, appearance doesn't matter.

Okay, this out of the way I can very firmly say that my "taste" in women, men and non-binary folks in nearly every regard contradicts the common stereotypes society holds.

Like the very features I find hot always are things society does not appreciate. Which makes it hard for me to make compliments that go deeper than "you look great", because I can't know if the very thing I find hot is something they loathe about themselves.

Yes, we certainly should not comment on other people's details of appearance. But at some point it might have appropriate but I can't, because I don't know if I hit a sore spot.

Having explained that I'm pretty sure societal beauty standards only have a limited influence on my judgment.

It's a combination of having a high standard regarding outfits (not as in "what designer is that", but in "what are your thoughts for this outfit and how do you bring it to life") and some male traits I really do not like. Like facial hair in general is a big turn-off. BUT I know men with facial hair that I do find attractive. I'm confused by myself. But maybe there's a historical residue of misandry in this.

Dear cis people

If you do NOT speak up about the TERF Fascism sweeping through the UK and other places right now, then know this:

You are COMPLICIT. And just like those during World War 2 who did not speak out against Nazism, you WILL be held culpable by history.
