    I was in Florida several years ago and it seemed like ibises were basically regional geese, wandering around in parking lots and hanging out in public spaces where people tried to ignore them. Meanwhile I was army-crawling along the ground after them taking photos. Good birds

    @jencmars Can confirm, ibises are Florida's geese. They're not *quite* as ubiquitous and are thus more of a treat than a nuisance.

    @eishiya Speaking as someone living in goose country, I also noticed ibises seem a lot more chill than geese, such a delightful animal
