If you want to know just how far they'd go to erase queer culture, look no further than the seemingly benign "litterboxes in classrooms" talking point, which is anti-trans, anti-queer, and of course specifically targeting the furry fandom which is... hey... guess what? Queer.
The hate against ABDL/Ageplay is largely ignorance and often times willful ignorance. Someone sees something they don't like/understand and instead of shrugging and moving on, they feel the need to interject and make it about themselves. Apparently the thought is "if we just get these weirdos out of the fandom, then the rest of the fandom should be fine," but that's just normie-washing and it has never, ever fucking worked in the history of ever.
Trying to exclude objectively queer people from a queer space only makes the overall culture weaker and defenseless against oppressive regimes who would rather we didn't exist because we threaten their very normalcy and toxic masculinity. You end up setting up the dominoes that lead to your own eventual demise.
Never mind the fact that there are a ridiculous amount of babyfur/babyfur-adjacent staffers in very high/notable positions in conventions and furry organizations around the globe who work very hard to protect furry culture in general, but you'd never know because that's kind of the point.
If you don't understand a kink, do some research and ask questions. If you still don't like it, that's fine. You don't have to like everything, but you can't be out here leading crusades against people who have done literally nothing wrong and are just trying to have a good time. You also can't be out here making false blanket accusations against an entire group and expect it to go over well.
By trying to lead these anti-kink crusades, you're making it worse for everyone (including yourself) because regimes don't care if you think you're "one of the good ones." The target on your back isn't any less noticeable to them and it's no secret to anyone who's been around the block a few times that this is always how it goes.
Protect queer spaces and culture. That includes furry, kink, and how they intersect.
