@lproven
Obfuscated C was the great carnival of my past. Don't malign the players mate just hide your pointer(s).
@nrmacdonald I'm absolutely not maligning anyone. I'm in awe of this stuff.
@lproven
Dual purpose game and frustrating amateurs in memory mazes with phantom pointers to pointers in never land .
I guarantee some of my code is still running in [not for public release].
@nrmacdonald
P. S. On rereading your comment the next day... I don't write the headlines, only the article copy.
@lproven
headline writers suck arse
@nrmacdonald No, but they have a much better idea of what will draw the clicks then we humble scribes.
@lproven
Ja oder. That's their stinking job, revenue over info because the gross number of clickers never read past the headline which is why they suck arse. I will die on this wee mound of dreck.
@lproven Adrian Cable's winner feels a lot like a demented version of the CHIP8 early game VM. Except, y'know, with only one instruction and far better graphics
@lproven I always thought it was telling that Larry Wall won it at the same time he was creating Perl
@scudderfish Could be worse. Seen the code Arthur Witney wrote when implementing APL?
And of course the whole thing was started by Bourne's code creating his eponymous Shell.
