@elaterite Good guess! This is between Boca and Stampede Reservoirs. The river is called Little Truckee River, I just learned.

@Tamami Oh, okay, that make sense. I didn't even think of the Little Truckee. That is a nice drive! Did you go all the way to SIerraville?

@elaterite Not this time, as husband can't handle a long ride, but I went that way about a month ago; 89 to Sierraville, then 49 to Loyalton. I love driving around there.
