Trump leveraged the electoral college to advantage. I won’t even touch the possibility that Musk impacted the vote outcome somehow in some areas.
Everything you say is absolutely true, there's no doubt. But I think we are also a profoundly stupid country, or at least, our voters are.

The polls I saw at the time had the percentages reversed for white, college educated, but still, an 8% swing is still a whole lot of college educated racism.
