Trump is having waves of military aircraft do low altitude, high volume flyovers of DC all weekend long starting with today, to be followed by a massive fireworks detonation on the 4th, as a way of asserting dominance over DC since nobody went to his stupid "state fair." It's an incredible aviation and environmental hazard and a vast waste of jet fuel.
@gwynnion considering that he was planning to do a long speech in 107 degree weather, I can at least hope this adds to the chances that something horrific and wonderful happens.
Still, pretty awful and I'd rather it not happen. The hazard, the waste, and the heat, to be clear.
