    How fitting that the day after Carney officially abandons the previous climate change policies, Canada Day celebrations are canceled in Ottawa due to flooding. It's almost like physics doesn't care how hard it is to address climate change.

    @stellarsarah And on July 4, it's going to be 38C at the White House with an expected Extreme Heat Warning, meaning heat index of at least 43C

    @stellarsarah it’s not even that hard to address climate change. So many countries have at least in some part done it very quickly. And I expect will advance further as a result.
    Instead he’s protecting AI & data centers, oil companies own by mostly US investors, trying to keep these literally toxic industries on life support rather than support actual life at risk by investing in solar innovations. Finding our own lane in the future.

    @JoBlakely it's apparently "too expensive and divisive" to tackle climate change. Because it would mean leaving oil in the ground in Alberta.
