@ainmosni @simontatham I am not sure this about being change averse or not as person. I have to learn a lot of new things basically every day, but I use free software because it should be my choice whether or when I learn something or not. I see the problem mostly where new things are not offered as an alternative I can opt-in on my own terms, but where they are pushed onto me.
