Transphobes want to push trans issues out of the social sphere (equal rights) and into the clinical (mental illness) while rejecting what the psychiatric community already determined: that trans people aren't mentally ill and transitioning is the best care possible. The goal has always been conversion therapy and extermination, the same as the Nazis.

There's a certain variety of asshole who likes to argue trans people are so powerful or privileged -- because we're not dead, I guess -- even as we're constantly relitigating shit from the 1930s. And we're losing.
