#BGStats says in June, I got in 21 plays of 13 different #BoardGames

New to me were: Great Western Trail: Argentina (fun but a lot), Kanban EV (fun, perhaps too complex), First Rat (a gamer's Shoots & Ladders, fantastic), Lightning Train (meh), 13 Leaves (a fine filler), Excalibur (reasonable party game)

Also new to me: the Concordia Aegyptus map , and the Power Grid Australia and India maps

I taught: Scout, Innovation, Concordia, and Arboretum

@hmelman I wish I could convince someone to play innovation with me. For some reason, all my friends hate it 🤷

@Chicken0Death I think Innovation offers more strategic depth per volume of any game I've played 😀 Also I love how each game can play out so differently (attacking, high scoring, low scoring, big swings, etc.)

@hmelman Exactly! It almost feels broken. But once you embrace the possibilities, it all works. I just can't get anyone to see the light.
