    @sundogplanets My sister might know, I'll ask her. Her horse is half Percheron, another at the barn a Percheron.

    Also big, and sometimes less than fully aware of their own size. Gentle beasts. I'm told big horses usually are by breeding.

    Until one of the ren faire guys gets them out on the jousting lists and they turn into murder horses (they really like playing any variant on kill the peasant).

    I'm reminded of a day, back when I was an irresponsible young teenager, launching a little model rocket from what we thought was an empty field. We were so focused on getting everything ready that when we looked up, we were surprised to find ourselves in a ring of cows. They were just over to check out the proceedings.

    I suspect that it was on purpose that the farmer, later that year, released a fairly aggressive beast into those same fields ... it's amazing what half a ton of galloping bull can do for your ability to clear a fence at a full run.
