I am looking for real-life examples from newspapers, reports, etc. of companies that commited labor abuses or environmental violations (e.g. EPA/OSHA but also in other countries), but nothing happened to them because either they were the major local employer/there were few employment alternatives nearby, or there was no effective enforcement of penalties.
