Some people look at the number of people diagnosed with #Autism year on year and call it an epidemic. If they looked at the number of exoplanets discovered year on year would they reach the same conclusion. That some environmental factor was causing worlds to pop into existence all over the galaxy? Or would they consider that as science progresses, it might get better at spotting things that were there all along.
